NO TIP
I get it that tipping is not mandatory but I get so annoyed when I give such good service and get NO TIP. I don't know if it's the location where my restaurant is or the kind of people that come through but it just happens way too often. Today I had 9 teenagers come in and they were acting immature and singing and laughing super loud. They all ordered drinks in the largest size and when they ordered each person ordered 2 things. Thank god it was one bill! The bill comes out to $118 and there was one girl who paid for the whole thing. They leave and NO TIP! I feel like if teenagers don't know to tip they shouldn't be coming into restaurants that they can't afford. uggggghhhhh :( Okay sorry that's my little vent sesh!

LOL. i agree. i work in a restaurant also, and it pisses me off when that happens. what makes it all the more worse is when they do what you just mentioned, on top of going "full retard" and think they own the damn place. customers like that, i don't need. :0
ReplyDeleteUgh I hated that! Back when I used to work in a restaurant, we used to add gratuity for parties of 6 more, but if the party were to split their check then the rule no longer applied. Super annoying, because a bunch of kids would do the exact same thing, no tip. It wasnʻt even just one time, the same group of kids would come at least once every week. -_-
ReplyDeleteOh, is it common sense to leave the 10%-20%of your total spend as tips to thank the Waiter's service and the mass your leave? Especially a big group like this one, it's really underbred just walk away like that.
