Runaways

So tonight, I had some really weird customers. There were two ladies and I came up to them and greeted them. I put the settings down and then one lady asked, "What kind of tea do you guys have?" I said we have green or black tea and then she said she wanted green. The other lady asked, "What kind of drinks do you have?" I don't know if it's because I am a waitress that I developed this annoyance when people ask what kind of drinks do we have when the menu is staring right at them with what kind of drinks we have. So I showed her the area where we have the drinks and she asked, "Do you have tea with no caffeine?" and I said no we don't and she says, "Ohh, okay I'll just have a small coke!" Uhh hello lady you just asked for something with no caffeine and now you want a soda!! ugh anways. So then I asked if they were ready to order and she said yes I will have your chicken caesar salad. The "no caffeine lady" says do you guys have anchovies? I said no we don't sell just anchovies but we have anchovies in our caesar so she said ohh okay I'll have your chicken caesar too. I said okay and then went to go put in the order. While the order was going, I went to go clean my other dirty tables and while cleaning my tables I spilt a cup of water and it got on the floor. I went to get the mop and cleaned up the water. Not realizing that I forgot to make the two ladies drinks, their two caesars came out already. As I was getting ready to take the caesars out, the other waitress working with me says, "Aye, do you know that your table with the two ladies just ran out?" I ran out to find them and saw them running away towards Subway which is like 3 stores down. I'm yelling for them saying, "HEEEELLLLOOO! HELLLLO!" And they totally ignored me. Obviously I'm not going to go into subway and be like wtf why did you just leave? So I just went back into my restaurant. I was so confused, I mean idk if they were mad that I didn't bring their drinks out? But usually people just say ohh excuse me can we have our drinks? Or if they change their mind about eating there they usually say excuse sorry can we cancel our order. But I just thought that was so rude. My cooks made your food and you just run away and leave without saying anything. Weirddddd.
